Women’s
(Re)Institute
(Re)claim. (Re)new. (Re)energize. (Re)frame.
June 1-30, 2021
A virtual event dedicated to supporting and empowering women working in education.
As a woman in education, you face unique challenges that have only intensified this past year.
Gender disparities in the education workplace have been exacerbated by the pandemic and from societal stereotypes. Women continue to face barriers to career advancement and it can be difficult to have a voice that is heard.
It can also be difficult to find a safe space where you can be yourself while learning and growing with others who share a common experience.
The Women’s (Re)Institute is designed to give you the resources, perspectives, and tools to elevate your professional capacity.
Whether you are a teacher, administrator, aspiring leader, or experienced maven, this is your time to amplify your sense of self and pave a path forward.
An Engaging Schedule
Each week revolves around a theme and features new and exciting live sessions, recorded videos, articles, and more. New content will be released at the start of each week.
Offerings will include both synchronous and asynchronous content so you can choose your own adventure and participate in what is relevant to you, at your own pace.
Equity, Inclusion & Community Thread
The EIC Thread features a variety of content addressing the challenging and complex issues that face educators, staff, and school leaders from underrepresented groups, and those who are working toward creating more inclusive communities.
Cohort Groups
New for 2021, engage in the conference alongside other participants and connect to women in education from all over the world by joining a cohort group.
1:1 Career Advising
Participants will have the option of scheduling a 30-minute conversation with one of our search consultants or placement counselors to discuss whatever is on their minds—the next steps in their career, a job search, a leadership challenge, or a review of their written job materials.
